Saying YES to Prosperity

I’m actually saying YES to a lot of things lately.

YES to closing my kitchen to meat

YES to letting my 2-year-old play on the IPad

YES to what’eva my girl Danielle LaPorte has to say

YES to the Bachelor (I know, I know)

YES to not working out everyday

YES to receiving what I put out into the Cosmos

YES to more money

YES to feeling damn good in the clothes I wear

YES to enlightenment

YES to feeling the deepest connection to my Self-Realized Self

YES, YES, YES….lovely word, isn’t it?

I say this ultimately because I’m saying YES to prosperity.

You heard me…that sometimes scary, selfish, stuck-in-my-own world word: P-R-O-S-P-E-R-I-T-Y.

I had a great conversation last week with a friend and up-and-coming coach who used to work on my team. She and I were gabbing about those deeper, unnamed things we want in our lives. To be seen, to grow, to revel in awakening, to bond with present-mindedness, to seek God at a higher level. You get the point. As we were talking, I decided the two of us should pull out the oldest trick the book. Let’s pick something to *focus* on, and watch it turn itself up all inside our crazy lives. And so we did. Can you guess what mine was?

We all need to be awakened to something, in my opinion, quite regularly, or we will die – or at the very least, only wake up when something is hurting. My wake-up moment happened on the island of Maui this past fall and resounded in this breakthrough:

My prosperity and your prosperity are one.

HUH? God, Universe, Source doesn’t just say YES to me. She says YES to it all, us all. Whose agreeing with her? Me, please. Because when you are ready to say YES, you align with the Princess of Prosperity and she loves you with open arms.

And so here’s my focus: for prosperity here and over theeeere (hint hint: I’m pointing at you). Because what I have most I want you to have most too. When you have “it”, I have “it”. We are all connected – and without the awareness of our connection, we die. And that “it” – stands for your Awakening to ask for and receive now your prosperousness-ness. ;)

And all of this for what?

Prosperousness expands you. AND – success breeds success.

What’s possible for you if you expanded into who you were meant to be…and then kept expanding?

Oh, before I go, here’s how my focusing on prospering has taken off for me in just a week and a half:

*Increase in INCOME, STRATEGY, and FULFILLMENT via full time work gig (my career is a level 10 on a scale of 1-10 – I’ll do another blog post on this later)

*Favor with those I admire the most in my professional life

*Our unbelievable (and quite successful) realtor spared no expense in hiring contractors, an interior design team, and landscapers to make our house looks like HGTV’s Ultimate Dream House. No kidding – all because SHE likes prosperity too.

*Sold almost $200 of junk in ONE HOUR at our garage sale

*Was gifted with an entrepreneurial success-machine program at a third of the cost

*Intuitively was led to redesign a simple and easy blog so I can say YES more often to inspire the inspired.

Need I say more? What we *focus on*, grows. I’m not saying life is perfect, just prosperous if you say yes.

Prosper,

MG

Rivers and Tides

Recently a friend asked me to look up this documentary, Rivers and Tides, about Andy Goldsworthy. This artist creates extraordinary works of art out of scrapes and branches in nature. Over and over he creates a spectacle, and it all goes back to his relationship to the earth. This documentary is not only profound, but a must see for any and every artist. Even if you aren’t a self-proclaimed artist, it really digs deep into what you are creating in your life. Your work may be the way you mother, the career path you’ve carved, or something you are deeply passionate about. Continue reading

Brighten Up a Long Winter’s Day (or season!)

Today we have a GUEST BLOGGER who is a dear friend to me and serious Fashionista! I love everything she has to say and you will too, so read up for the very best style solutions you might need for your wardrobe (and check out her blog!)

Brighten Up a Long Winter’s Day (or season!)

Bonjour!

I was inspired, this morning, by something Kristin mentioned to me via email. For those of you suffering from the winter blues or are just plain fed up with the lack of sunlight, I want to encourage you. It is unfortunate that the combination of a long winter, too many hours of darkness and a little bit too much comfort food haunts many of us this time of year. Below is a list of ideas I came up with; I hope you find something that peeks your interest, soothes your soul and offers you a “lift”! Continue reading

Hope is on the Horizon

Ok, so smack me for falling off the wagon of blogging. I’ve been busy learning and observing some of the biggest lessons the past two months.

Our world has been chalk full of serious lessons in loss. Families losing their homes, millions of us losing our jobs, 100% of us losing more than half of our stock market investments, the country suffering the loss of 8 years of a President who has depleted us, and all of the interconnected losses that are attached to us in hundreds of ways by those who have lost something in one way or another. How many people in your life have been effected by your losses? Imagine that on a grand scale. Continue reading

Drop Your Oars

Thank you all for leaving so many meaningful and bright comments on the last post. It’s not a mistake that I decide to pick up writing in the blog on one of the most historical days in our history. Today has had a way of bringing me into the present state, aware of everything, fresh with memories that have more of a lesson than I realized.

I was driving this afternoon, at a stop light, and noticed the clouds. Beautiful. They were rounded pebbles and shooting pearls floating into one another. I remembered when I was a little girl, I would lay in the grass at our old house and look up in the sky. I was so present. There I was, little me, noticing the shapes, designs, colors. Present and aware of what the grass felt like under me, what the smells were in the air and the approximate time it must be in the day for the sun to be where it was. I remember planes flying overhead, way high in the sky and I would wonder where the people were all going. I wondered where I would go one day. And here I am now, 20 years later, someone hardly recognizable to that little girl. A woman with more than she ever dreamed of. A woman who is more than she ever dreamed of becoming. And even now, what I really long for, is that present moment, where I can look up in the sky, and dream about what this moment, and only this moment might have for me. I realize that this moment is all I really have. Nothing more, and when I take the time to lock this thought in, I realize that this is the way to becoming even more than I could ever imagine in the next twenty years of my life. Continue reading

Enjoy the View

Are you in control of this season in your life or is this season in control of you?

Everyone’s talking about the economy, the elections, the world coming to an end…or not. Stocks up, stocks down, retirement gone, cash under the mattress….what?! My head was spinning so I stepped out of the game. I realized somewhere around last week, when all hell was breaking loose, that I had a choice. It was that same feeling I had when I realized I could really learn how to surf and continue getting the crap beaten out of me (for what?!) or lay peacefully on the beach and enjoy the view while my husband went out to the waves. Either way, the day would still end, the birds would still chirp, the trees would still stay green. What is the cost of the outcome though? Continue reading
