I spent the early part of my career inside the leadership rooms of Fortune 500 companies, developing the leaders and teams who would actually build what the strategy only promised. That is where the real gold was. The brands worth building are, every single time, built by humans who have decided who they are. You cannot shortcut that.
What I was actually doing in those rooms was reading style. Who had decided. Who was rising. Who was still asking permission.
That instinct did not come from nowhere. I come from a line of women who treated a good piece of clothing like a strategic asset. My great-grandmother was the first female postmaster in Pennsylvania, and the woman who taught her town what dressing for success actually meant, long before it was a phrase you could buy in a book. Four generations later, I am still hunting a good piece like sport, and I still believe what she did: how a woman shows up is how she is met, and that declaration should never have to wait on a price tag.
Style is not decoration. It is the fastest, most undeniable way a woman communicates who she has decided to become. Build her, and the brand, the business, the room, all of it, follows.
